martial arts at the age of ten when he briefly studied Tae Qwan Do in
Hamet, CA. His family moved to Fontana, CA where he studied Kickboxing

under Renshi David Rogers in 2001, studying karate, earning a 3rd
degree black belt, kubodo, earning a 1st degree black belt,
and the teaching of karate. In April of 2006, he traveled to Naha City,
Okinawa with his immediate instructor, his instructor (Kioshi Nabil
Noujaim) and other top students to train under Grandmaster Hansi JuDan
Shugoro Nakazato Sensei. He worked as a psychiatric registered nurse in

Okinawa is the birthplace of Karate. It has been
practiced in Okinawa longer than the United States has been in
existence. There are many styles practiced today. We study Kobayashi
Shorin-Ryu Karate. My Karate lineage is: Renshi Rogers, Kioshi Noujaim,
(Sensei Sabella) Hanshi JuDan Shugoro Nakazato Sensei, Chibana Sensei,
Itosu Sensei, Matsumura, who is considered the father of okinawan
karate. The essence of karate is Kata. Kata are a set of moves
originated by ancient karate masters, and passed down “without changing
anything at all” though the years. Kata is practiced together with
physical conditioning, sparring, and the study of kubodo, or ancient
okinawan weaponry.
